Kent is Opening on March 6!
After a six-month closure for remodeling, the Kent Library will reopen on Saturday, March 6, at 10am.

The “new” Kent Library features a different look for the entrance and lobby; new meeting room space that opens up as public space when not in use for meetings; and an Automated Check-In system in the workroom that will help staff keep up with increased workload.

Special programs planned for the day include:  Caspar Babypants, a children’s music program, at 10:30am; and Savani World Jazz, a Latin Jazz fusion quintet for all ages, at 12:30pm.  Refreshments will be served by the Kent Friends of the Library.

A Preview Party for community leaders, Friends, and KCLS administration will be held on February 24 from 5-7pm.  This event is sponsored by the KCLS Foundation.
